Hi there! I am Mirella and I come from Zimbabwe but live and work in Italy.

I have been teaching English as a Foreign Language for nearly 27 years here and I have passionately taught all age groups from various backgrounds and all facets of society and different levels in both General English and Business English with lots of dedication and compassion, remaining sensitive to student’s needs.

My aim is to always see my students go from a dependent stage of acquiring the language, to an independent stage where they develop the desire and ability to think on their own and from there to an interdependent stage where they are polite, pleasant, practical, persuasive and successful, powerful masters of the language.

I believe that every day is a learning day. That is why I love travelling to new places, exploring and discovering new cultures and languages. When I am at home I travel too by reading books, as they are wings to my mind, transporting me into new dimensions where my imagination takes flight even though I find my best stories are found between the pages of my passport.
